OK - I hope I am putting this in the right place - despite a lot of patience and assistance from SisterCrush (thank you Sarah!!) - I am still hopelessly confused! (that happens a lot lol) so here it is...
POKER REVIEW OF Intertops Poker
BY annelovesalan RATING 7.5
I do RECOMMEND Intertops Poker. They have a range of tourneys and sit and go tourneys as well as table games, but my favorite thing is that its not impossible to win the freerolls when you have been down on your luck. The only thing I don't really like is that it seems hard to get to the bonus tiers and the bonuses tend to be confusing to me. There are three types of bonuses which include gold stacks, gold chips, and gold cards. Some are good for cash and some are good for tourneys and I often have no idea how they work.
FUN FACT:
I think its hysterical that the blondes that depict players on this site seem to be well endowed.
SOFTWARE:
I think its just intertops software. You can play a no download version but I wouldn't recommend it. It seems like it freezes a lot. The tables have graphics of peoplel (see above about blondes) and you can move to any seat at the table (yes for some strange reason that's important to me). I like the box at the bottom left that allows you to see stats and your position. It is pretty standard stuff as far betting is concerned, although there is not an automatic call - just fold and check and something called fold to any bet. Be careful with that one - it lasts the whole hand. Perhaps I shouldn't be using those at all anyways - lol. I don't like the constant reminders for other tourneys, but other than that, it works well and is easy to navigate.
GAMES:
The games are easy to access and organize. You can set your preferences on the bottom left tab and establish everything from games to buy in limits. The top tabs allow you to access what type of play - tourney, table, etc and the rest of the navigation is very similar to PokerStars. I like to play Omaha and Hold Em and there are always plenty of ring games and sit and go to sit at. I have noticed that the sit and gos with over 10 people tend to take a while to fill up (from 15 min up to 1.5 hours) There are some free rolls but not as much as they had before they relaunched. But, as I said above, they are not impossible to win.
MONEY:
Its Intertops - they take all currencies as far as I can tell - it is easy to deposit with a credit card or debit card if you in US. I have never cashed out! But I love the options of the ATM card and the check.
BONUS:
1- 1st deposit bonus code is 600FREE which is released in 5 dollar incrememnts depending on FPPs. There is also a gold stack, gold card, and gold chip promotion. They all seem to reward tourney entries, but as I said above, I find it very confusing. The free rolls are available to everyone once you join, but I did not get any special entries for signing up that I remember.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Email, phone support, and live chat. It can take longer to get an email response on the weekends.
